Volunteers Needed!!

Volunteers are needed for AP Exams! We are currently looking for adult volunteers to help with check-in, distribution of materials, and being an extra set of eyes to prevent possible cheating. The exams are held from May 7th until May 18th, with 1-2 sessions per day. It also acts as an opportunity to get an inside look at what your student should expect to experience when they take their own AP exam.

If you are interested in signing up to help during one (or more!) exam session, please use this link:

Thank you for your support!!

Day of the Exam

Check-in time for AP exams is 7:30 a.m. for the morning administration and 12pm for the afternoon administration. Students may not be dismissed until an exam has officially ended; DO NOT ASK TO LEAVE ...more

***Registration for AP exams begins January 18th***

Date Registration Fee
Jan. 18 - Mar. 5 Regular

$100 per exam

Mar. 6 - April 19

Late $155 per order (and pre-bubbling session)

Please order your exams early.  This will assist us in preparing for a smooth administration of the AP exams.

Unlike in years past, students are NOT required to attend a pre-administration session (aka "pre-bubbling") if they sign up for the exams on Total Registration by March 5th. We are receiving pre-printed answer sheets for students that order by the regular deadline.

*** No refunds will be granted for exams that are cancelled after 3/5/17 at 11:59pm ***

How to Register

  • SCHS students pay for all AP exams using the Total Registration website. NO payments will be accepted on campus.
  • If you took an AP exam last year, be sure to use the same email address when accessing the Total Registration site.
  • Print a copy of your AP exam registration and payment confirmation for your records.
  • Mark your calendar for your AP exam date(s).
  • Pick up a “Bulletin for AP students and Parents Handbook” from one of your AP teachers, or in the upper right corner of this site. This bulletin will answer many of your questions regarding how to prepare for the exams as well as the test administration policies and procedures.

Financial assistance:

  • To see if you might qualify, click here: AP Fee Waiver 2018.doc
  • If you need financial assistance you MUST visit the Guidance Office as soon as possible. Please see Mrs. Brizeno no later than February 28th for a forms and approval. Students will also need a copy of their Free/Reduced Lunch confirmation letter (OR tax returns from last year)

IB  Exam or CIF Sport Conflict:

  • IB Students:  It is your responsibility, not the school’s, to figure out if you have a scheduling conflict with IB exams. See Guidance as soon as possible to order an alternate exam.
  • Student Athlete:  It is your responsibility to confirm with your coach if your (only sanctioned) CIF events will conflict with an AP exam.  Once the conflict is confirmed by the coach, an alternate test may be ordered for an extra fee. See Guidance to order.

  • If you currently receive testing accomodations or need to apply for approved accomodations through College Board, you need to speak with Mrs. Brizeno in Guidance by February 20th. College Board takes several weeks to complete the approval process.

However, if a student is deciding not to attend classes prior to the exam or after the exam, THEY WILL NEED TO BE CALLED OUT/EXCUSED BY A PARENT, just like any other school day.
