Triton Idol talent show 2013 this coming Friday, January 18th at

7pm in the Triton Center

Tickets are $5 for students and  $10 for adults

baked goods and coffee will be for sale

 

 

“All CSF members interested in attending the field trip to USC on February 5th must come to Mrs. Kerr’s room p39 to pick up permission slips and have them turned in by January 29th.”

 

Key Club has a meeting this Thursday in Mrs. Jobst's room at lunch.

Congratulations to the Wrestling Team.  Over break they traveled up to Las Vegas to compete in a National Event.  Of the 81 teams from 8 different states your Triton Wrestlers were the Tournament Champions.  They followed that up with a tournament championship last weekend in Ontario.  In all your Triton Grapplers have won four tournaments and are now ranked at the state and national levels.

Congratulations guys!

Congratulations to the wrestling team on their 2nd place finish in the prestigous La Costa Canyon Invitational.  A Big congratulations goes out to Tim Parten and Tony Flores who placed fourth, Ash Ryan who placed second, and Austin Aceves who was not only the tournament champion but was named tournament MVP.  Good Luck wrestlers at Mater Dei this weekend.

Congratulations to the wrestling team who finished last week with a perfect 10-0 record.  They were champions at two tournaments, and are now ranked #2 in Orange County.  Your Triton Grapplers outscored their opponents 611-107 in the ten matches that the won.

Keep up the great work wrestlers and good luck at the La Costa Canyon Invitational this weekend.

 

Congratulations to the Healing Hands club for raising $1300.00 at their event last night in Laguna Beach.  Also they will be having a meeting today at lunch in Room 208.

Congratulations to the varsity wrestling team.  On Tuesday they hosted the San Clemente 8-Way and when the smoke cleared, your Tritons were the Champions.  They actually defeated the #2 ranked team from San Diego County for the championship.  

Undefeated individuals on the day for the Tritons were Christain Orpineda, Victor Flener, Daniel Garcia, John Castellini, Mike Marshall, Ash Ryan, and Austin Aceves.  Congratulations on a great start to the wrestling season!

  • Homecoming dance tickets are now on sale in the activities office and the upper campus office before school, at break and at lunch. Don’t wait; Get your ticket this week before prices go up.

 

  • All boys interested in playing basketball: There will be an informational meeting in Coach Popovich’s room 403, today at lunch. Tryouts will be Tuesday, September 18thin the main gym and Wednesday, September 19thin the auxiliary gym.

  • Class Changes: fill out and turn in a pink schedule request form outside of the guidance office. Academic advisors will only be assisting juniors today and Sophomores on Monday before school, at lunch or after school.

 

  • Attention all boys interested in playing basketball this season: There will be an informational meeting in Coach Popovich’s room, 403, Tuesday at lunch regarding tryouts.  All persons interested in trying out must be at the meeting.

 

  • Attention Junior Drivers: be there on Wednesday, September 19that 6:30 in the Triton Center.  It is a REQUIREMENT to attend with a parent in order to obtain or keep a SCHS Parking Permit.  Be sure that you attend this presentation so that your parking permit is not revoked.

 

  • Lockers will be distributed outside of the attendance office before school, at lunch or after school only.

 

  • Surf Team tryout meeting today during lunch on the pool deck!

 

  • Any student interested in starting or continuing a club must attend a mandatory meeting today at lunch in the ASB room. Club applications are due Monday, September 10thby 3pm to the activities office. Applications are now available on sctritons.com.

 

  • Show your triton spirit tonight at our home football game v. Dana Hills at 7pm. It is a “Black Out” so wear your black Triton spirit gear.

For speedier service be sure to fill out and turn in a pink schedule request form outside of the guidance office.
