  • You must enter the dance by 9:00 pm or you will not be granted entry.  If you have purchased a ticket and are not at the dance by 9:00 pm, we will call your parents to make sure you are safe.

  • Guests are allowed to attend the Winter Formal, but a guest contract must be submitted (and eventually approved)  by Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the end of lunch.  Guest Contract Winter Formal 2016.doc
  • All students will be breathalyzed  at the entrance to the dance.
  • Dancing Guidelines (applies on and off the dance floor): Inappropriate behavior and lewd and lascivious dancing such as “freaking” will result in a student receiving a warning.  A second warning will result in the student being asked to leave the event and will make him or her ineligible to attend all future dances for the remainder of the school year. Parents will be notified.
  • All students attending Winter Formal on January 22nd, 2016 at the Pacific View Club at Camp Pendleton must be appropriately dressed before they are granted permission to go inside of the dance.  Students that fail to follow the dress and grooming standards will not be permitted to enter the dance, a parent will be contacted, and the student will be sent home immediately. NO EXCEPTIONS.  Remember, this is a Semi-Formal event.

Sheer/see-through blouses, dresses, tops, “tube”, or tank tops that are excessively revealing, reveal undergarments, or have scoop or deep sides. Girls’ dresses should not be excessively short or tight. Clothing that allows underwear to be exposed or resembles undergarments is prohibited. Girls’ dresses may not have cuts that are revealing or bear too much skin. Dresses that are too low in the back and reveal too much skin are not allowed. All dresses must be finger-tip length or longer and remain at that length with arms raised above the head.

For boys, dress slacks must be capable of staying up around the waist without a belt, be unaltered at the waist, worn at or above the hips and over all undergarments, not be excessively baggy, or have a crotch that does not hang excessively low. A collared dress shirt, tie and coat must be worn into the dance. Jeans and corduroy are not acceptable. No shorts allowed.

  • You must wear shoes at all times!  If your shoes are uncomfortable to dance in, bring sneakers or flip flops to change into. Coat check will not accept shoes unless you have another pair of shoes to wear during the dance.
