The ATPA offers a variety of opportunities for parents to be involved with the academy. It is generally recognized that the more partents are involved with their student's school activities, the greater the increase in performance from their student. All academy parents are encouraged to become involved by serving on one or more of the following committees/activities:
- Help plan academy activities
- Chaperone Field-Study trips
- Help with fundraiser activities
- Serve on the Academy Advisory Committee
- Serve as a Guest Speaker
- Help with decorations for various functions
- Help develop academy newsletter information
- Help with academy Academy office activities (stuff mailers, address envelopes, etc.)
- Provide transoprtation for your student to a Job Shadow or Internship site
- Attend Academy functions (like Meet the Industry Night, etc.)
Any parent interested in participating may volunteer to serve by calling the academy office at (949) 366-9843 at any time. The Academy Assistant Director is available during the school day to answer your questions or there is a 24 hour answer machine to record your messages.
